A Conversation with Yoav Kutner and Quami
For any Israeli growing up in the 1980s, “Zehu Ze!” was our life! It was our favorite TV show, and our most beloved segment was Yoav Kutner's pop segment. Before MTV and the internet, it was one of the only places in which Israeli youngsters could see pop videos from abroad. The videos Kutner carefully curated blew our minds and filled our hearts with happiness, excitement and inspiration. His segment on the show was for an entire generation a window to the world.
In this tribute event, two music editors and radio personalities will meet on the Cinematheque stage, screen unforgettable music videos from the show, and discuss this cult corner of Israeli TV that affected our psyches forever. Duration approx. 75 mins.
