In a career spanning sixty years, concert promoter and impresario Ron Delsener was the name behind virtually every major contemporary music concert in New York City for generations. This electrifying and extremely entertaining documentary chronicles the mastermind who brought David Bowie to Carnegie Hall, Patti Smith to the Palladium, and somehow convinced Simon and Garfunkel to reunite for their historic Central Park concert. Over six decades, he transformed how we experience live music, building an empire from backstage deals and impossible dreams.
The screening will be followed by a conversation live on stage between Asaf Ben David – one of the founders of the InDnegev Festival, Indgigs productions – and Zach Bar – one of the founders of the Teder, Port Said and Fortuna Records. They will discuss the Israeli live music world.
