Premiere screening of the restoration print of “Zohar”: Celebrating the 30th (+1) anniversary of Israel’s most revered musical biopic, in collaboration with the podcast "Once Upon a Time in Israel"
Moving biopic about Israel's most successful and famous Sephardi singer, Zohar Argov, his rise to fame, struggles, drug addiction, and eventual downfall.
The digital copy was produced at the Israeli Film Archive - Jerusalem Cinematheque in collaboration with United King Films and Eran Riklis.
A panel discussion with Eran Riklis, Avihu Medina, Shaul Mizrahi, Dafna Dekel, Gabi Amrani and screenwriters Moshe Zonder and Amir Ben David, will follow the screening. Moderated by Gilad Levi Kopelman, creator, and presenter of the podcast "Once Upon a Time in Israel".
